Addison had her one month well-baby checkup today. She, at 5 weeks, is eight pounds, seven ounces and twenty-one and a half inches long! I still can't believe how much she is growing.
She is doing so well, she is a wonderful baby; so happy all the time and loves to snuggle ;-)
Yesterday we went to the dentist and to the mall with Cousin Payton...thank you Payton! We couldn't have made it without her; Addison didn't want to sit in her seat. She thought it would be better if Payton held her the whole time ;-) But we made it!
As a treat to Payton for surviving even when her arms went numb, we went to the mall to and made a stop in Savannah Sweets! YUMMM!!! Not a great place to go when you need to lose baby weight, but the best place for yummy chocolate, or for Payton.... SOUR candy!
We made it though another week, and are looking forward to the weekend!

New Addition....

Addison has arrived! She was born Thursday, June 4th at 12:39pm weighing 6lbs 11oz and 19 inches long.
We can not describe how great we feel having our little girl home with us, it is amazing being parents to such a wonderful little baby. We are truly blessed by a loving god, and could not ask for anything more.

I wake up everyday to this beautiful little baby who just melts my heart with her smiles. I can't believe that she is finally here! Nine months seemed so long and I never thought that I'd ever get to meet my daughter.
Now at a month old, she is growing like a weed! Friday we will visit the Doctor's office for a checkup, I'm wondering how much she will weigh...my bet, 8 lbs ;-)

I am excited everyday to learn something new about her and watch her explore her world.
